R.w. Meek has an MA degree in Art History from the American University in Washington, D.C. His areas of expertise are Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, with a particular interest in Vincent van Gogh. He interned at the National Museum of American Art and conducted tours at the National Gallery of Art. His favorite animal is the Wyoming Mountain Goat, closest
to the unicorn.

Born in Baltimore, the author presently resides in Santa Clarita, California.
